EPAC is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Sound Designer/Operator
Set Designer/Scenic Artist
Musical Director

Sound Designer/Operator
The Sound Designer/Operator is responsible for creating all sound effects and a mic plot, as well as operating the sound board for each performance.

Responsibilities include:
Attend production meetings to discuss sound issues / sound effects with director
Procure, edit, or create all sound effects needed for the show
Create and implement a mic-plot
Work during turnover to set up the sound system (including pit mics/monitors)
as required for the show
Work with actors to ensure proper mic placement / use
Attend all tech rehearsals to run sound
Turn mics on at beginning of night, de-battery at end of night
Perform mic check according to procedures
Inform TD of any issues with mic or sound system immediately
Run sound board for every performance
Strike sound equipment after the run of the show


Reports to: Technical Director
This is a paid, stipend per show position.

Set Designer/Scenic Artist
The set designer/scenic artist is responsible for creating/implementing the set from concept to completion.

Responsibilities include:
Read script to determine necessary functions of the set
Participate in production meetings to create overall concept/aesthetic for show
Work with production team to create a set that meets needs of production/fits overall concept
Create ground plans, models, and renderings as necessary to illustrate design to production team
Work with Technical Director to create construction drawings, schedule, and discuss budgeting
Participate in set construction
Discuss necessary floor props/set dressing with props manager
Paint/Dress set

Musical Director
The person in charge of all the musical aspects of a production. Duties would include teaching the score and vocal couching the cast and helping to put together and rehearse the orchestra. Duties could also include accompanying on the piano during rehearsals.

Responsibilities include:
Piano Accompanist for productions and rehearsals.
